Right in the middle of Marazion on the seaward side.
You can't miss it. There are glorious views of St Michael's Mount and
Mount's Bay. It has it's own car park next to a larger public car park.

Lamorna
Village Hall. This is about
5 miles roughly south of Newlyn off the B3315.
The Hall
is on the left hand side of the Lamorna Valley road as you head towards
the cove - about 200 yds before the Lamorna Wink Pub. There is a small
car park just before the Hall almost hidden amongst the trees.

Coming from Penzance it is about 200 yards past The Godolphin Arms Hotel
on the right hand side. Best to park in the public car park just west

Marazion
Community Centre. This is
about a half mile east from the centre of Marazion. Drive uphill along
Higher Fore St, in the Helston direction, until you reach the Fire Engine
Inn on your right. The turning on the left is Shop Hill. Go up here and
carry on for about 300 yds. The Community Centre is on the right hand
side. There is plenty of free parking space.

|
Methodist
Chapel Hall - Penzance.
The Hall, in Chapel St., is next to the imposing edifice of the
Methodist Chapel. We have used the large first floor room which is most
easily and directly reached by walking across the Chapel approach to the
back left hand corner. Parking in Chapel St. is always a problem but in
the evening there are often spaces to be had at the bottom, or, on the
promenade in the Jubilee Pool area.
( At times
of high tides with big seas, parking on the promenade is not recommended
! )

|
Nancledra
Village Hall. About 3½ miles
from Penzance on the B3311 towards St Ives. The Hall is on the right in
the middle of the village just as you begin to go uphill. There is plenty
of parking around the hall.

the Village of Paul about 2 miles south of Newlyn off the B3315. The Hall

Richmond
Methodist Church Hall - Penzance.
This is at Tolver Place. The Church is on the left coming up
Tolver Rd from Taroveor Rd (Taroveor Rd is at the top of Causewayhead).
To reach the hall, walk up the little lane on the right hand side of the
church.
If you
are coming from out of town then take the A30 by-pass westbound from the
Tesco roundabout. First exit at the next roundabout will take you into
Treweath and then Coombe Rd. Keep going over all the speed bumps, past
Humphry Davy School and Richmond Methodist Church will eventually appear
on your right.

|
St
Buryan Community House. Newlyn
Rd, St Buryan. If you take the Tregadgwith / Lamorna road out
of the village the signed track to Community House is about 200yds along
on the right. This is a new building with a bar and a superb floor. There
is plenty of free parking here.
|
|
| St
Peter's Church Hall
- Newlyn. The Church Hall is on
the right hand side near the bottom of The Coombe as you drive up from
Newlyn. Take your chances with parking here but there is a proper car
park in Duke St off Newlyn Strand.
|
|
Union
Hotel - Penzance. Situated
near the top of Chapel St. on the left-hand side as you travel downhill
toward the seafront. We dance in the Trafalgar dining room - a ballroom
which is a superb example of a Georgian Assembly Room. There is also a
bar. Once again, parking is always a problem in Chapel St. but there are
several carparks nearby.
For the historically
inclined - this building was visited by the Spanish in 1595 for a short
return match seven years after the Armada. The bar has been refurbished
since then. We promise to be more restrained.
In 1805 a ball here was interrupted
by the announcement of victory at the battle of Trafalgar and the death
of Nelson - Penzance was the first town in the country to hear this news.
